DYERSVILLE, IOWA Darrell D. Kramer, 48, of Dyersville, Iowa died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center, Dyersville, Iowa. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish vigil service was held at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica with burial in St. Francis Xavier cemetery, Dyersville, IA. Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate. Darrell was born January 20, 1965 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of David J. A. and Janice (Klaren) Kramer. Darrell was a member of the 1983 graduating class at Beckman Catholic High School, and graduated from the University of Iowa in 1987, with degrees in Business and Psychology. He worked in telemarketing and sales and most recently worked at Comfort Inn in Dyersville. Survivors include his parents, David and Janice Kramer of Dyersville, 2 sisters; Diane (Dale) Hefel of Farley and Janet (Mark) Stelken of Dyersville; 5 nieces and nephews; Danielle Hefel of Manchester, Dina Hefel of Farley, Andrew Stelken of Dyersville, Jenna Stelken of Farley, and Madison Stelken, at home. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Alphonse and Irene Kramer, and Nicholas and Armella Klaren. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.kramerfuneral.com.
