Dear Julie, Nick, Joe, and Janelle,
On Wednesday morning, Almighty God came with open arms to take Russ on his Heavenly journey home to be with those who had gone before him. Russ, being a man of faith accepted this invitation leaving you Julie, and children to mourn his untimely death. We express to you Julie, Nick, Joe, and Janelle and extended family members, our profound sympathy as you walk in the valley of darkness trying to hang on tightly to the memories Russ created during his lifetime. It was a delight to see Russ pull up next door with his motorcycle to socialize with his dearest friends. Russ was a good and gracious man always greeting everyone he encountered with pleasantries as he walked the pathway of life. Our thoughts and prayers continue for you each and every day. The Robert Eick Family

Russ was so kind to me after my forced retirement. He invited to come visit at the hospital. I was hard to do but he made me feel welcome.
Russ was a man of few words. But when he did it was always a kind word about someone.
He will be missed by many
