Obituary of Thomas H. Jenk, Jr.
Thomas H. Jenk Jr., 64, of Dyersville passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville. Visitation will continue Thursday from 9:30-10:30 am at Kramer Funeral Home prior to funeral services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017, St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate.
Tom was born January 1, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Thomas Sr. and Beverly (Lancaster) Jenk. He married Pamela Drew in August of 1976, in Wilmette, IL. Tom was well known for his baseball coaching ability at Beckman Catholic High School, where he taught for 43 years. He was an avid fan of the Hawkeyes and the Cubs, and enjoyed grilling out. Above all, his family was his top priority, especially the love of his life, Pam.
Survivors include his wife of 41years, Pam; children: Drew (Lisa) Jenk of Scottsdale, AZ, Brooke (Bob) Bush of Dubuque; grandchildren: Derek & Addie Jenk and Lincoln Bush; siblings: David Jenk of Mount Vernon and Lisa (Jude) Milbert of Dyersville; his father-in-law, Roger Drew of Sun City West, AZ, brothers-and-sisters-in-laws: Donna (Vic) McBroom, Sandi Drew, Steve (Nancy) Drew and Polly (Tom) Tichy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Nancy Drew.
