Dear Pam, Drew and Brooke
We were saddened to hear of Tom's disease and subsequent passing. He was a big supporter of Power Train Baseball. We sure had some fun family trips with Drewsky and the Dyersville boys of Summer. Memories we will treasure always.
God bless . . . till we meet again.

My wife and I had the good fortune of knowing Tom and his family during our years in Dyersville. I had the privilege of working with Tommy at Beckman HS during that time. Tom’s love and devotion to his family, students, school, and the town was beyond compare. His impact has been felt and will be missed. Our condolences to the family. RIP Tommy.

Dear Pam, Lisa, David,
and family,
I was very sorry to hear about Tom’s passing. We were friends throughout grade school and high school. Although I have not been back to Dyersville in many many years, I have very fond memories of Tom. It is obvious that he was much beloved by the community, and I will be thinking about you and your families. Nancy Keane Kiedinger

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Jenk family at this difficult time. Having known Tom for 30 years as an opposing player and coach I have nothing but great respect for the role model he was both on and off the field. I was proud of the fact both my sons had the opportunity to compete against Dyersville Beckman during their high school years.
Tom always had a smile on his face and was willing to give advice to many young baseball coaches across the state of Iowa. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Sincerely,
The Koch's

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Coach Jenk. In my 16 years with the Athletic Association I was privileged to know him and respect the personal and caring manner he coached. He was indeed a role model for all and will be missed. The many lives he touched created a bond forever and the resulting memories will minister to the loss we feel now.

I am sorry for your loss and you have my deepest sympathy at this difficult time. May you be comforted knowing how many lives Tom touched on the field, on the court, and in the classroom.
He was the epitome of a Beckman Trailblazer..... going where there was no path and leaving a trail.

My condolences and sympathy to the Jenk Family and Beckman Baseball Family. One of the finest individuals I have ever met on a baseball field. Truly one of the all time greats in the game and wonderful human being. Always had time for everyone he came upon and never forgot where he came from and stayed "true to his roots". Baseball is a better game because of what he gave to it, he gave it his all. Tom Jenk is what "greatness is all about" and you would never know it by talking to him. Rest in Peace and I am better person for have knowing you.

Had to have eyes in the back of your head when Tom, Dave (Sad), Brian and Terry were on the loose. They did have fun and lived large for their ages. Always enjoyed running into Tom and his dad at Cub games; real fans. He will always be Tommy to me.

Condolences to the Jenks family. My folks lived next door to Tom, Bev and the two lads, Dave and Tom. The Jenkins boys and my brothers Terry and Brian, aka Murph and Sweeney, kept the neighborhood active. The good times did roll there while I taught in NE Iowa. Good neighbors are hard to find - we were blessed to have them.

Tommy & I grew up together in the 1950s & early 60s in Dyersville. The Jenks lived next door to us and Tommy & Dave always were playing with myself and my younger brother Terry. We were also all on the same Little League team and played sandlot baseball all summer when we weren't golfing or playing Tom Sawyer on the Creek or in winter playing hockey on the Creek.
Life then was wonderful and all of the Jenks (Tom, Dave, Lisa, Bev & "Big Tom") were wonderful people.
I was so sorry to hear of Tommy's passing! It came only a month after the death of my own brother Terry so its been a sad Fall this year.
I still remember the day at grade school when Tommy walked into class wearing real honest to goodness "Beatle Boots"... jeez that was cool.
God speed Tommy ...
Your Friend,
Brian Mullan
