Your mom will be missed greatly by so many people. She was my boss at the Delaware County Senior Center when I worked with the Adult Day Services Program, then my co-worker when I was the manager of the center. She talked often of her children and grandchildren, and felt so blessed to have all of you in her life. We shared our birthday, so that made our friendship even more special. I talked to her around Christmas time and shared a hug with her. My heart is heavy for her family and friends, but I know she is at peace and that is comforting.
Sincerely,
Sheryl Hutchinson

My deepest condolences to Doris' family and friends. I did not know Doris as long as I would have liked to, but the impact she made in the short time I did will last a lifetime. She had a zest for life and very much enjoyed a good laugh, and we shared many laughs together. I always enjoyed conversing with her and hearing her stories. She very much loved the Lord, her family and her cats, and spoke of them often. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

Dear Steve and family,
Not being from here, I have started reading complete obituaries so I know if someone I know lost a loved one. I did not know your mom's name so I was rather shocked to learn Steve that was your mom. I am so sorry for you and your brothers and now your little family that sounds like it is growing. I will be praying for all of you as you walk in the valley of darkness. Sincere sympathy.

Mark, Michael and Steven: I am at a loss for words. Doris was a wonderful, kind, compassionate lady. She was such an asset to our Adult Day Program. She was a mentor to me. Please know that she talked of you boys often, and that she was so proud of each of you.

I find it hard to believe that she is gone. She was amazing. Our family will not be the same without her smile and wisdom. I'll miss you Aunt Doris!
