Mary Irene Felton, 94, of Sleepy Eye, MN. and formerly of Worthington, Iowa died Sunday September 4, 2011 at Divine Providence Community Home, Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Friends may call from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville. Private family funeral services will be held at Kramer Funeral Home with burial in St. Paul Cemetery. Deacon Fred Pins will officiate. Irene was born November 14, 1916, the daughter of John and Eleanora (Gerwick) Ewald in Beatrice, Nebraska. She married Nicholas W. Felton on May 24, 1946 in Cascade, Iowa. Survivors include her son, Charles (Rita) Felton of Sleepy Eye, MN, 5 grandchildren: Brian (Irene) Felton, Mark (Anna) Felton, Chad (Heidi) Felton, Christopher, Nicole Felton and son-in-law Marlin Jackson 4 great grandchildren: Joseph, Thomas, Edward Felton and Hayden Jackson, siblings: Richard Ewald of Greeley, CO, Judy Anderson of Rockford, IL, Mildred (Harry) Paul of Lincoln, NE, Betty (Wayne) Trump of Albuquerque, NM, and Lois (Harold) Myers of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nicholas in 1999, one daughter, Virginia Jackson, 1 infant granddaughter, Jackson, brother: Albert Ewald. Memorials are preferred.
