Obituary of Ruby Annette Reicher

Ruby A. Reicher, 59, of Califon, New Jersey and formerly of Dyersville, Iowa died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice House in Dover, NJ. Friends may call from 9 - 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Dyersville, Iowa. Ruby was born on June 27, 1952, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Stephen and LuAnn (Wessels) Reicher. She graduated from Beckman High School with the Class of 1970. Ruby worked in the hospitality industry in Dubuque until moving to New Jersey in 1993, where she worked in the financial collections industry. Ruby enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing, hiking and biking. She also loved to dance. She had a special love for her canine companion, Brodie. Survivors include her siblings: Rick (Dianne) of West Dundee, IL, Rod (Phyllis) of Dyersville, IA, Russ (Julie) of Worthington, IA, George of San Diego, CA, RoseMary Reicher of Chicago, IL, nieces & nephews: Josh (Eileen), Tim (CaSandra), Jason (friend Tonya), Nick (Tracey), Joe, Janelle, Emily (fiance Rich Minton) and Matt (Nichole) Reicher, 6 great nieces & nephews, several uncles & aunts, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Brodie. Memorials are preferred to your local Humane Society.
