Obituary of Scott William Tauke

Scott W. Tauke, 50, of Dyersville, and formerly of Edgewood, died Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish scripture service will be held at 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 9 2011, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. John O'Connor will officiate. Scott was born December 11, 1960, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Loretta (Lammers) Tauke. He graduated from Beckman High School with the Class of 1979 and began farming with his brother, Tom, until 2002. Survivors include 3 siblings: Mary Ellen (Vern) Recker of Dyersville, Nancy (Steve) Deutmeyer of Dubuque, and Tom (Joanie) Tauke of Greeley, a brother-in-law, Roger Silhanek of Belle Plaine, IA, a sister-in-law, Norma Tauke of Dyersville and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings: Judith Ann Tauke, Carol Ann Silhanek and Ken Tauke, and nephew, Travis Deutmeyer.
