Survivors include his parents, Jim and Shirley Theisen of Holy Cross, IA, one brother, Ken (Cyndi) Theisen of Holy Cross, IA; three sisters: Patty (Pat) Steffen of Luxemburg, IA, Nancy (Joe) Oberbroeckling of Asbury, IA, Karen (Lynn) Ludovissy of North Buena Vista, IA; five nephews, Kyle, Keith, Ben, Zach and Jake; and four nieces, Christie, Amber, Hanna and Emma. Military rites will be accorded by Legion Post 656 of Farley. Ron was born on June 11, 1959 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of James William and Shirley Ann (Manders) Theisen. He graduated from Leo High School, served in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1980 and then moved to Colorado. He was an avid fisherman, golfer and pool player. He enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces, nephews and friends. Ron was employed at Mike Naughton Ford as an Internet Coordinator and as a driver with White Dove Limo Service in Denver. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
