Evelyn M. Kruse, 92, of New Vienna, Iowa died Sunday, December 7, 2003 at Ellen Kennedy Living Center after a brief illness. Friends may call from 2-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Vienna, Iowa where an Altar & Rosary Society and VFW Auxiliary rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. and a parish scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2003, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna. Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville is in charge of the arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2003 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Vienna, Iowa with burial in St. Boniface Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Phil Kruse with Rev. John O'Connor concelebrating. Evelyn was born on May 10, 1911 in Adrian, Minnesota the daughter of William H. and Ceceilia (Fangman) Pasker. She married Henry L. Kruse, Sr. on January 22, 1935 in Colesburg, Iowa. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, St. Boniface Rosary Society, Senior Citizens Center, VFW Auxiliary, Heritage House and New Vienna Prayer Group. Evelyn was a homemaker, and thoroughly enjoyed her family. Survivors include 2 sons, Henry A. (Doris) Kruse, Jr. of New Vienna, IA and Ronald L. (Mary Lou) Kruse of Dyersville, IA; 17 grandchildren: Kevin, Karl, Kelly, Karen, Pam, Phil, Terry, Randy, Tammy, Janice, Judy, Lynn, Shelly, Craig, Kim, Ted and Tony; 6 great-grandchildren: Kendra, Kayla, Danielie, Luke, Shawn and Dawn; 1 great-great grandchild, Kristen; 1 brother, Wilfred (Delores) Pasker of Dyersville, IA; 1 sister, Margret (Jerry) Vondran of Galena, IL; 1 sister-in-law, Agnus Pasker of Dyersville, IA She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1993; 4 sons: Daniel, Robert, Richard and David; 2 grandchildren, Kerry and Lori Kruse; 4 brothers, Leander, Alfred, Anthony (Sunny) Pasker; Clarence Pasker 2 sisters, Tillie Niehaus and Catherine Kruse; 1 sister-in-law, Sally Pasker; 2 brothers-in-law, Walter Kruse and Clem Niehaus.
