Surviving are 3 daughters: Linda (John T.) Kremer, Judy (Chuck) Koppes and Patti (Ed "Smiley") Menster, all of Cascade; 2 sons: Roger F. Bries of Cascade and Dennis M. Bries of Dubuque; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Rita (Len) Kleis of Sun City West, Ariz., 3 brothers: Leon (Phyllis) Berns of Garnavillo, IA, Anthony (Mary) Berns of North Buena Vista, IA and Francis (Eleanor) Berns of Littleton, CO; 1 sister-in-law; Margaret Bries of Dubuque; 1 brother-in-law: Francis "Fritz" (Marcie) Bries of Epworth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on April 5, 1997, and 3 sisters: Gertrude Goebel, Lucille Berns and Catherine Torborg. Rosemary was born September 14, 1921, in Garnavillo, IA, the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Wolter) Berns. She married Clarence M. Bries on September 14, 1943 in Garnavillo, IA. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Dyersville. The family would like to thank Shady Rest Care Center and Hospice of Dubuque for their wonderful care.
