Survivors include five sons, Jim (Donna), Bill, Ron (Darlene), Dave (Dianne) all of Luxemburg, IA and Dennis (Lori) of Dyersville, IA; 18 grandchildren: John, Gerry, Dan, Karen and Tom Kluesner, Juliene McNally, Michelle Evers, Linda Yett, Carmen, Chris, Carl and Steve Kluesner, Colleen Lawler, Connie Link, Ken Kluesner, Scott, Kevin and Chad Kluesner; 37 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Gerry (Eileen) Kluesner, Alois Oberbroeckling; four sisters-in-law, Stella, Virginia and Adele Kluesner and Bernice Lansing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, in 1969; a triplet daughter, Rose; a daughter-in-law, Ellouise Kluesner; a grandson, Gene Kluesner; three sisters, Anastacia and Dorothy Oberbroeckling and Hilda Hullerman; three brothers, Elmer, Gilbert and Alfred "Fritz" Lansing; six brothers-in-law, Clarence, Fred "Fritz", Joe, Ed, John "Jack" and Cyril Kluesner; four sisters-in-law, Beatrice "Bede" Freymann, Mary Gotto, Irene Lansing and Mercedes Kluesner. Rose was born on October 17, 1911 in New Vienna, Iowa, the daughter of William and Catherine (Hoeger) Lansing. She married Elmer F. Kluesner on June 14, 1938 in New Vienna, Iowa. They farmed for 31 years east of Luxemburg until Elmer's death when Rose moved to town. Rose was known for her excellent cooking. She was proud of her boys, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their families. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Rosary Society.
