Obituary of Russell Marugg

Russell F. Marugg 34 of Monticello passed away on Sunday. September 12, 2004 at the Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa after a life long battle with health problems. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the Kramer Funeral Home where a parish scripture service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello with Rev. Donald Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Russell was born on June 9, 1970 at the John McDonald Hospital in Monticello the son of Fritz & Darlene (Heims) Marugg. He was employed at Advance Services Inc of Monticello. Russell enjoyed to tell jokes, fish, play bingo and spending time at the farm. He cherished his family and enjoyed his time with them. He had resided at the Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center in Monticello for the last two years. He is survived by his mother Darlene one brother Joe (Shelly) of Monticello and two sisters Sandy (Dan) Evans of Vinton, and Julie (Mike) Flitsch of Central City. His nieces and nephews Breanne, Russell his God child and Jon Evans, Levi, Jay and Katie Flitsch. He was preceded in death by his father Fritz, one niece Angela, and his grand parents, Fritz Sr. & Ethel Marugg and Clarence & Helen Heims.
