Mr. Reittinger was born February 26, 1917 in Dyersville, Iowa the son of Anton and Augusta (Braun) Reittinger. Delmar farmed NW of Dyersville and enjoyed raising wild animals. Survivors include 1 daughter:Linda (Tom) Sassen of Broomfield, CO. 3 grandchildren, Todd, Erin and Luke Sassen. 4 nieces, Doris Reth, Patricia Steger, Marilyn Sharp and Deb Mescher, 3 nephews, David, Richard and Donald Reittinger and 1 sister-in-law, Lucille Reittinger of Manchester, Iowa. Preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Robert and Emil Reittinger 3 sisters, Helen Kramer, Thelma Clemens, and Mae Louise Kroeger. 1 sister-in-law, Catherine Reittinger, 3 brothers-in-law, Ray Kramer, Lawrence Clemen and LaVern Kroeger, 1 nephew, Roger Reittinger and a niece, Diane Clemens.
