Aurelia Catherine Stelken was born May 18, 1916, in Worthington, IA the daughter of Bernard and Catherine (Fruth) Stelken. She married Gerald Nicholas Grawe on Oct. 1, 1940, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Dyersville. Aurelia was a homemaker who raised 10 children on their family farm. She resided at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester for the last six years where she enjoyed visiting her friends and playing Bingo and the other entertainment there. Surviving are 6 daughters: Mary & Barney Trumm and Ruth & Pat McGrane, both of Manchester, Darlene & Floyd Kunkel of Hazel Green, WI, Carol & Ken Cox of Cedar Falls, IA, Lois & Ken DeBrosse of Midland, MI and Joanne Grawe & Marty Wills of East Dubuque, IL; 4 sons: Robert & Jean Grawe of Strawberry Point, IA, Donald & Carol Grawe of Hazel Green, WI, Merle & Karen Grawe of Dyersville, IA and Glenn & Sheri Grawe of Marion, IA; 28 grandchildren & 32 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Elmer & Betty Stelken of Worthington, IA and Joseph Stelken of Dubuque, IA, and a sister: Laura Mae Carton of Earlville; brothers & sisters-in-law: Vince Schrunk of Dubuque, IA, Delores Stelken of Manchester, Mercedes Maiers, Madonna Wulfekuhle and Imogene & Jerome Bagge, all of Dyersville, IA. Aurelia was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, on June 5, 1992, a great grandson, Alex Cox, 3 brothers: Bernard, Arthur and Jerome Stelken, a sister, Irene Schrunk, 6 brothers & sisters-in-law: Omer Carton, Lois Stelken, Jane Stelken Ambrose Maiers, LeRoy Wulfekuhle and Cletus Grawe.
