Survivors include a son Richard (Patricia) White of Hopkington, IA. 7 grandchildren, Lynnn (Gary) Kluesner of Farley, Ken (Allison) White of Lenexa, KS, Paula White of Farley, IA, Kathy (Brian) Grete of Cedar Falls, IA, Lee White of Winthrop, IA, Rachel White of Marshalltown, IA and Patrick White of Hopkinton, IA. 6 great grandchildren, Sarah, Justin and Abby Kluesner, Elizabeth and Adam White and Andrew Grete. 3 sisters, Marcella White of Dyersville, Katie Harms of Anamosa and Veronica (John) Weber of Delhi, IA Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Leon. 2 infant children, Dennis and Mary Elizabeth. A brother LaVerne Leibold. Mrs. White was born August 10, 1919 in Farley, Iowa the daughter of George M. and Mary Elizabeth (Pins) Leibold. She married Leon J. White on June 5, 1941, in Worthington, Iowa. They farmed from 1941 until retirement in 1969 when they moved to town. Margaret was a bartender at the Worthington Hall for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of three different card groups. Margaret was a member of the Worthington Senior Citizens where she formerly held the office of Treasurer. Margaret enjoyed being with her family and loved to work in the garden, bake and quilt. Her late husband, Leon, embroidered while Margaret made the quilts.
