Survivors include 3 sons: Harlan (Debbie) Johnson and Harvey (Cyndy) Johnson both of Monticello and Virgil (Judy) Johnson of Worthington; 1 daughter, Ruth Ann (Michael) Less of Atkins, IA; 8 grandchildren: Jolene and Juneau Johnson, "C.J." and Joe'D Johnson, Doug and Deanna Less Kuennen and Melanie Johnson Gallagher and Aaron Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Ruth Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clarence, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Minnie Eleanor Luck was born June 11, 1914, near Hopkinton, Iowa the daughter of William E. and Mary (Bronemann) Luck. She grew up in the Hardscrabble area of rural Monticello, IA. She married Clarence J. Johnson on January 6, 1944 at the Evangelical and Reform Church, Monticello. Clarence and Minnie made their home in the Monticello area where they raised their 4 children. Minnie enjoyed gardening, quilting and baking and everyone loved her famous cinnamon rolls.
