Surviving is her daughter, Doris Clemen of Dyersville, 2 brothers: Bernard Wiskus of Guttenberg Care Center, formerly of Luxemburg and LaVern Wiskus of Colesburg and many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her husband Leo, 3 sisters: Rosella Clemen, Theresa Neuhaus and Alvina Pasker; 4 brothers: Gregor, Raymond, Lawrence, Clarence Wiskus. Memorials may be given to St. Francis Xavier Parish and to Oak Crest Manor. A special thank you to the staff and everyone at Oak Crest Manor for the wonderful care Mom had these past three years. Condolences accepted and information at www.kramerfuneral.com. Julia was born on July 28, 1917 in Colesburg, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard and Theresa (Schmitz) Wiskus. She married Leo C. Clemen on November 23, 1937 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Colesburg, Iowa. Together they farmed in the Luxemburg area until they moved to Dyersville in 1955. She was a homemaker who loved gardening and flowers, bingo, the Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes. On June 17, 2002, she went to Oak Crest Manor in Dyersville where she truly loved her time with the people there, the activities and trips.
