Survivors include his wife, Olga, 2 sons: John (Charlene) of Dyersville and Jeff (Jane) of Earlville; a daughter Jane (Dr. James) Hauffe of Champaign, IL, 10 grandchildren: Caryn (Tim) Fry of Van Horne, IA, Colleen Ries of Chicago, IL, Natalie Ries of Dubuque, IA, Nathan Ries of Dyersville, Isaac, Sam and Claire Willenbring all of Dyersville, Justin and Drew Hauffe of U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO. and Clay and Cole Willenbring of Earlville; 1 great-granddaughter, Emma Fry, 2 brothers: LeRoy "Sal" (Pat) Willenbring and James (Janet) Willenbring all of Dyersville; 2 Sisters-in-law: Sr. Lucille Lammers of Mt. St. Francis in Dubuque and Eloyse Diesburg of Central City; and a brother-in-law, Bernard (Inez) Lammers of Dyersville. He was preceded in death by his parents. Condolences accepted and information at www.kramerfuneral.com. Ervin was born on June 28, 1925 in Petersburg, Iowa, the son of John F. and Hilda L. (Roling) Willenbring. He married Olga L. Lammers on September 30, 1952 in Petersburg, Iowa. He drove for L.G. Klostermann Trucking then worked for Bard Concrete for 30 yrs. Ervin was a lay distributor and a member of the S.S. Peter & Paul choir, he was also a former member of the Petersburg School Board and Parish council. He managed the Petersburg semi-pro baseball team, Little League, Jr. Legion and Babe Ruth. Ervin was an avid Chicago White Sox and Green Bay Packers fan.
