Survivors include her 5 brothers: Keith (Kris) Domeyer of Aurora, IA, Kurt (Jane) Domeyer of Fairbank, IA, Dewey (Jeannie) Domeyer and Chuck (Jennifer) Domeyer, both of Delhi and Allan (Amanda) Domeyer of Delaware; 5 sisters: Lynn (Todd) Moser of Colesburg, IA, Janet (Jim) Fiedler of Cambridge, WI, Bonnie (Jerry) Thompson, of Hopkinton, IA, Christy (Terry) Wegmann, and Laurie Domeyer all of Delaware, IA; 27 nieces and nephews, 5 step- nieces and nephews, 1 great niece, her grandfather, Alois Oberbroeckling, godparents, Jack and Shirley Domeyer and her godchild, Adam Domeyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece, Holly Domeyer and grandparents, Andy and Frances Domeyer and Dorothy Oberbroeckling. Deborah was born on December 17, 1968 in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Diane (Oberbroeckling) Domeyer. She was a 1987 graduate of Maquoketa Valley High School and attended Loras College. Debbie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and enjoyed helping and volunteering at Johnston Elementary School in Hopkinton. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Deborah Domeyer, 37, of Hopkinton, Iowa died Monday January 2, 2006 at Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, Iowa after a long battle and complications with cancer. Friends may call from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2006, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish scripture service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friends may also call after 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church, Delhi, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2006, at St. John's Catholic Church, in Delhi, Iowa with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Delhi. Officiating will be Rev. John Kremer. Memorials are preferred to the Anna Purna Ghosh Foundation for cancer patients.
