(Everett) Tobiason of Monticello; 6 Grandchildren: George IV, Mindy (Bill) Kostow and Kelley Snyder, Jennifer (Fred) Hoffmann, Charlotte and Scott Tobiason; 1 great grandson, Fred Hoffmann III; 1 sister, Imogene Reiter of Dubuque, IA; 7 sisters-in-law: Milly (Carl) Markmann of Hale, IA, Neena (Paul) Petersen of Manchester, IA, Monita Monosod of Las Vegas, Nev., Gertrude (Larry) O'Leary of Herculaneum, MO, Patricia Dauber of Tipton, IA, Susie (Jerry) Huss of Lake View, IA and Sandra (Ty) Luensmann on Monticello, IA; 2 brothers-in-law, Tom (Jill) Brokaw of Monticello, IA and Merle Hansen of Hopkinton, IA. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty, on February 19, 2000; 2 brothers-in-law, Ted Reiter and Neal Dauber and 2 sisters-in-law, Nancy Brokaw-Frost and Pearl Hansen. Clifford Frederick Snyder was born May 3, 1928 in Dyersville, Iowa the son of George T. and Loretta M. (Clemen) Snyder II. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Brokaw on January 17, 1949, in Monticello, Iowa. Clifford began residential painting until becoming a machine operator for Yeoman & Company where he worked for about 20 years. After retiring from Yeoman & Co. he worked for Bader Masonry for about 10 more years. Boating and fishing were favorite pastimes and woodworking, building things for his grandchildren, was his favorite hobby. A memorial fund has been established.
