Survivors include his wife, Elaine, 5 daughters: Sandra (Dale) Prier of Hopkinton, Connie (Bob) Leick of Dyersville, Linda (Chris) Ehrhardt of Reinbeck, Julie (Rob) Vaughn of Peosta and Rita (Mark) Goetzinger of Graf; 5 sons: Brian (Lisa) of Farley, Charles (Mary) of Webster City, Roger of Worthington, Ronnie (fiancé Tiffany McAndrew) of Peosta and Lester (special friend Amanda Breitbach) of Delhi; 19 grandchildren, 3 Sisters: Dianne (William) Ernzen of Dyersville, Marlene (Raymond Jr.) Schlarmann of Worthington and Gloria Maiers of Dyersville; 1 brother, Richard (Donna) Willenbring of Guttenburg, brother-in-law, Donald (Kathy) Tegeler of Dyersville and a sister-in-law, Marilyn (Joe) Willenbring of Luxemburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Evelyn Willenbring, a brother Dennis, a sister Patricia Tegeler and a brother-in-law, Vernon Maiers. Condolences accepted and information at www.kramerfuneral.com. Daniel was born on October 3, 1938 in Dyersville, Iowa, the son of Sylvester J. and Evelyn H. (Digman) Willenbring. He married Elaine B. Hingtgen on September 14, 1963, in LaMotte, Iowa. Daniel served his country in the Army. He farmed all his life and retired from John Deere after 30 years. Daniel enjoyed vacationing and spending time with his family and friends, especially the grandchildren. He was a wonderful person who had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by many.
