Survivors include her husband, Anselm, 3 sons: John (Linda) Hoffmann of Earlville, Gary (Sally) Hoffmann of Dyersville and Carl Hoffmann of Cedar Rapids; 4 step children: Dennis (Carol Ann) Willenborg and Zelda (Leon) Kluesner, both of New Vienna, Larry (LuAnn) Willenborg of Petersburg and Grace (Dan) Boatman of Cannon Falls, MN., one step son-in-law, Jerry Nickol of Dyersville, 5 grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, one brother, Raymond Urbain of Cascade, one sister, Dorothy Burlage of Dyersville, and 2 sisters-in-law: Dorothy Urbain and Gertrude Urbain of Farley. She was preceded in death by one step daughter, Glenda Nickol, 2 step grandchildren: Kurt Kluesner and Mark Willenborg, 2 brothers: Earl and Wilbert Urbain, one sister-in-law, Helen Urbain and a brother-in-law, Elmer Burlage. Odeil was born on June 13, 1920 in Farley, Iowa, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Horsfield) Urbain. She attended the rural schools in Dubuque County and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Farley. Odeil attended the University of Dubuque and taught at the Pleasant View School in Farley for nine years. She married Clarence Hoffmann on May 20, 1947 at St. John's Church in Placid. They farmed at Earlville. He preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1968. On Feb. 18, 1977 she and Anselm Willenborg were united in marriage at Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Petersburg, Iowa. Odeil and Anselm retired in 1981 moving to Dyersville and became members of the St. Francis Xavier Parish. She was a member of the Dyersville Senior Citizens of which she was past president for four years and also a member of the Order of Martha's. Friends may call from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2006 where a parish scripture service will be held at 2:30 p.m. and an Order of Martha Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m.
