Kenneth owned and operated the Hargrave funeral homes and furniture stores in Lost Nation, Lowden, and Wheatland, Iowa and also owned and operated the Hargrave furniture store in Monticello, IA. He retired in 1986. He is survived by daughters Mary Kay (Max) Shock of Malvern, AK, Judy Breyer of Monticello, and Jane Hennessey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, grandchildren Nikki (Ray) Easley, Franci (Mike) Waddle, Steve Breyer, and Kenny (Reenie) Breyer, and by a great grandson Evan Easley. He was preceded in death by his parents.
