Obituary of Kristine Ann Butterfield

Kristine Ann Butterfield, 45 of Monticello, Iowa died Tuesday, January, 31 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa after a battle with cancer. Friends may call from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday February 4, 2012 at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello, Iowa. A private family funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. following visitation. Survivors include Michael, 1 son, Anthony Weir, 2 daughters: Shayla and Kassandra Butterfield, 2 grandchildren Alyssa Butterfield and Michelle Kray, - all reside in Monticello, 2 brothers: Scott Butterfield also of Monticello and Roelf Maritz of Weatherford, TX, 2 sisters: Amber (Robert) Garza of Holopaw, FL and Tracy Basset of Denver, CO, 1 uncle: Tom Dworak of Council Bluffs, IA, 2 aunts: Patricia Gibler of Council Bluffs, IA.and Toni Dworak of Kissimmee FL. Kristine was born on March 5, 1966 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Sheila Dworak Butterfield. Michael and Kristine are soul mates and make their home in Monticello. Kris was a homemaker who loved to read, paint and do all kinds of different crafts. She liked to collect penguins and Jolly Ranchers were her favorite candy. Her family was precious to her and she loved spending her time caring for them. She was preceded in death by her father and 2 infant sisters. A memorial has been established in Kristine's memory.
