He is survived by a daughter, Dehlila Herman of Dyersville, his mother, Dana Bond (step-father, Chris Jenson) of Colesburg, IA, sister, Jennifer Herman of Cedar Rapids, IA, brother, Tyler Herman of Colesburg, his girlfriend, Jen Fauver and her daughters: Ashley and Chloe of Dyersville, nieces: Ivy, Mirah and Jalae Herman, grandmothers, Anita Bond of Colesburg and Amber Herman of Anamosa, IA, and many aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, David Herman, grandfathers, Virgil Bond and Albert Herman and an uncle, Rich Bond. David was born on January 14, 1984 in Anamosa, Iowa, to the late David Herman and Dana Bond. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, video games, music, movies and spending time with his family. David was employed at Lund Manufacturing in Farley, IA. Visitation will be held from 9 - 11 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2008 at United Methodist Church, in Colesburg, IA, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Brown's Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Allen Craft. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
