Survivors include sisters-and-brothers-in-law: Millie Klostermann of Epworth, Verna Klostermann, Lorie Klostermann, both of Dubuque, Iowa, Norma Klostermann, Elmer Tegeler, Gerry Olberding all of Dyersville, Ted Mock of Sauk City, WI, Verdus Burr and Virginia Petty, both of Dubuque, Iowa and Mary Ella Merrick of Muscatine, IA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn in 1976, younger siblings: Irv, Harold, Leroy, Laverne, Elmer Klostermann, Dorothy Hoeger, Edna Tegeler, Erma Olberding and Betty Mock, and a special niece, Jane Ungs. Bernice was born on April 20, 1913, in Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of John and Cecelia (Grawe) Klostermann. She married Glenn Merrick on July 27, 1937 in Dyersville, Iowa. She worked as a clerk for the JC Penney Co. for 28 years. Bernice was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 137, VFW Auxiliary Post 7736 and the Order of Martha.
