Ginger is survived by her husband, Leo, 3 daughters: Nancy (Tom) Hittenmiller of Dyersville, Janet (Mark) Wulfekuhle of Farley, Peggy (Dale) Timmerman of Dickeyville, Wis.; 2 sons: Bob (Rhonda) of Hopkinton and Mike of Dyersville; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Annie (Wilfred "Butch") Vaske of Dyersville; brothers-and-sisters-in-law: Betty Conrad of Delhi, Margie Conrad of Holy Cross, Darlene (Frank) O'Connor, Mary Heinrichs and Dorothy Meyer, all of Dyersville and Merlin (Kathy) Meyer of New Vienna. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Lori Steger Meyer, 4 brothers: Alfred (Idell) Conrad, Merlin Conrad, Robert (Eileen) Conrad and Louis Conrad; and 2 brothers-in-law, Alvin Meyer and Bob Heinrichs. Ginger was born March 16, 1930, in New Vienna, Iowa the daughter of Thomas and Angeline (Pfeiler) Conrad. On June 13, 1950, she married Leo "Lig" Meyer at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville. She was a homemaker who loved to have her family near, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking, playing cards and spending time with her friends. Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at the Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish scripture service will be held at 2 p.m. and an American Legion Auxiliary Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.
