Thomas William Schuster, 66, of Monticello, Iowa died Sunday, May 3rd, 2009 at his residence, after a sudden illness. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6th, 2009 at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello, Iowa where a parish scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 7th, 2009 at Kramer Funeral Home, Monticello, Iowa. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Birch. A light meal with refreshments will be served at Kramer Funeral Home immediately following the memorial service. Thomas was born on April 14, 1943 in Monticello, Iowa, the son of Wilfred Paul and Louise Dorothy Schwers Schuster. Survivors include his Sister: Jane Wright and husband Terry of Orion, IL. And Sister in Law: Jenean Schuster of Scotch Grove, IA. Step Children: Angie Hanken (Philip) and Amy Rieniets (Ted) of Monticello, IA. And Alison Sanders (Ben) of Urbandale IA. Niece: Lindsay Fahrner of Richmond VA. Nephew: Jim Schuster of Fairfax IA. And several other nieces and nephews Tom was a lifelong farmer with many special interests and hobbies. He ran a farm implement repair shop at the family farm for many years and once built an ALFO Tructor, a tractor backend and a ford truck front end connected together. He was also an avid stock car race fan; his favorite driver was Richard Petty, #43. He was preceded in death by parents, one brother David Schuster.
