Carol was the loving mother of 8 children: Chris (Ruthann) of Solon, Iowa, Cathy (Neil) Meyers of Dyersville, Jill (Tim) Breitbach of Urbandale, Iowa, Jeff (Mary Anne) of Dyersville, Iowa, Tammy (Dave) Cisar of Omaha, Neb., Todd of Iowa City, Iowa, Tim of North Liberty, and Nick of Cedar Rapids, Iowa: 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. 5 sisters-in-law: Marita Bruggeman of Kansas City, Kan., Nancy Bruggeman of Chicago, Ill., Mary (Tom) Williams of St. Augustine, Fla., Donna (Keith) Klostermann of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mary Jane Huberty of Dyersville, Iowa. 1 brother-in-law, Wayne Huberty of Coralville, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, 4 brothers: Joe, Leo, Bob and Paul Bruggeman, and 2 sisters, Rita Murray and Ila Bockenstedt. Carol was born May 22, 1937, in Petersburg, Iowa the daughter of Clem and Thecla (Gerken) Bruggeman. She married Thomas R. Huberty on July 9, 1955, in Dyersville, Iowa. Carol retired in 1989 as a supervisor at Modernfold in Dyersville. Carol Ann Huberty, 72, of Dyersville, Iowa died Monday, July 13, 2009, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque from complications of diabetes. Friends may call from 3 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July16, 2009, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish scripture service will he held at 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Phil Kruse will officiate.
