Was so shocked to hear of Ella’s death. Stan and I send our sincerest condolences to you and your family. Always remember spending New Year’s Eve with you and your family and our family at the Holiday Inn at Mankato, think it was 1965 as our Jeff was little and think Joe was Jeff’s age. Such good memories of long ago, Ella always such a sweet and kind woman and know her presence will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for all of you.

I always enjoyed going to your home when Sue and became friends only a (few years ago!) And being in the band with your siblings!. Your mom was always so kind and had a gentle soul.

Dear Jim, and family,
My heart was deeply saddened when I noticed the obituary of Ellen on the Kramer web.site. Oh what a beautiful woman she was so it is hard to find the words to express my condolences to each one of you who mourn her death. I am praying for all of you as you walk in the valley of darkness. However, I feel because of the goods seeds Ellen sowed upon this earth, she is enjoying the beatific vision of heaven. What an honor it has been for me to not only be a volunteer of 34 years at the library named after your family, but to work the front desk when Ellen came in for items and we would have the nicest visit. Without fail, she asked how Andy was doing.
Expressing our sincere sympathy and asking Almighty God to grant you peace in knowing Ellen no longer suffers the pangs of this earth. Rest in peace, Ellen. You will be missed but not forgotten. Sincerely meant The Eicks

Ellen was the last surviving member of my dad’s (Dennis) immediate family. I do not recall meeting Ellen while attending summer church services in Ledyard while I do recall her mom Ella, sisters Rosie and Patty. I also met other family members that visited our home in Des Moines.
From reading about her family and life, she was an amazing lady. My sincere condolences to her family.
