Dear members of the Goldsmith Family,
I am extending my sincere sympathies to you Tom, and children Ian, and Hannah. This seems so unreal to me to think this beautiful woman has departed from this earth. But I am sure witnessing her pain on earth, you rejoice in her memories and thank God she has been given rest. Now she reaps the rewards of leading a faith-filled life doing so much for others. Please know I care and I recall her coming into the library. She carved a a niche in our hearts that we won't forget. I haven't seen Sue/Mom in many years but have so many wonderful memories of our time as Resident Assistants together at UNI. I remember specifically her whirlwind romance and marriage to Tom where I sang at their wedding. The love they had for each other was so special. We also had our first babies right around the same time and were able to get together so they could meet each other. I'm so sad to hear of all of the sickness she went through at the end of her life! She was a wonderful person, always ready with sound advice but also so much fun! She will be missed!!

Sue and I met in college, at UNI. We lived on the same dorm floor. From day one, you knew Sue was an extraordinary individual. Caring, kind, soft spoken, and a heart as big as this world. Although described an an introvert, she was ALWAYS game for a good laugh, and trust me when I tell you, we'd had a few! Sue will be greatly missed.
