Becky was such an amazing person! Many of you knew and were blessed to call her a friend, I was lucky enough to call her my aunt and more than that…I some how hit the magical DNA tree and had a mirrored personality and we just “got each other”, like no one else could!
Becky and I not only were kindred spirits, she and I got to spend some of her last days together and I was there to witness one of the greatest stories that Becky wanted- her meeting her biological daughter Sarah!
As I was there, spending time listening to stories, I realized in this world you hopefully will leave an amazing impact on so many! I know my aunt did!
But in the end, when it’s quiet and all the friends come and go and nurses and doctors leave, there are a very few that remain. I was blessed to be in that very small circle of people to hold her hand and hear her final wishes. Becky wanted the world to know how wonderful Tom was to her, how he made her laugh, and how much she loved him.
The other was she loved finally getting to meet Sarah…this was years in the making, all with Becky’s love and blessing and a dream pushing it along and in the end, God’s timing brought it all together till He took her home. We love you Beck and we will see you soon!
