What a great guy. His infectious laugh will be missed. Just saw him at the CR airport in February as he was heading down to watch Cubs spring training and he looked fabulous. Maintained such a great attitude during his battle with cancer which surprises nobody knowing how tough he was. I am happy he was able to witness the Bears and Cubs winning championships during his lifetime but, more importantly, glad we were all able to have him as part of our lives. Osty, thanks for being a such a great friend, great wife to Leisa, and great dad to JoJo and Maya. See you on the other side!

I could fill pages with wonderful memories spent with Brian and Leisa and JoJo and Maya. Too many to count with thousands of laughs and so much love along the way. I'm not the only one either. Brian's friends number in the hundreds, no doubt. There wasn't a person alive he couldn't laugh with, and the love and devotion he showered on his family was out of this world. God may have needed him for a purpose we cannot understand, but Brian's lasting impact and his legacy of love remain with those who are left behind. He lives on in all of our hearts. It gives me a small measure of comfort knowing he is free of the pain and misery that stupid cancer wreaked upon him. He is free and safe among the angels. Peace...

2017, Soldier Field. Our trip to see Brian and Michael's beloved Bears play in Chicago and sadly lose to the 49ers, Robbie Gould. Leisa and I are pretty sure we can't quite remember the score, but we had a blast anyways. We ended up having to get asked to leave the stadium, but for our send off, Michael got serenaded by the workers, singing him Happy Birthday on the way out! What a great weekend! Xo
