I met Theresa working with Bound to Stay Bound Books. I was the Northwest Regional rep working out of Seattle. We would meet once a year with the other reps in the summer when most schools were on break. We would take early morning walks before the meetings, talking about our common interests like racquetball - and all the injuries we have leading an active lifestyle! I was on a cross country trip in August 2023 and stayed with Theresa and Chris for a few days.
I am so grateful I had that chance to visit. She had the warmest heart and the nicest and most sincere personality that just made you feel happy to be a part of her life. Her smile and passion for life was infectious. You are missed Theresa. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family and friends.

My heart breaks in hearing this news about Theresa. Unfortunately, I have not been able to see Theresa for a number of years. I knew Theresa as a young girl and reconnected with her years later as an adult. Theresa had a warm, kind heart. I will pray for Theresa and her family to gain strength in accepting God’s plan for her.

Jens and I are so saddened by Theresa's passing. She has been a bright light here in Dyersville to us and to many. We have not recently been together much but when we used to take classes at the Rec Center or when she was on our Kid Project board, we saw each other often. One of the sweetest people I have ever known, Theresa showed her care for others so easily. Her beautiful smile and loving nature radiated to all around her. God bless you, Chris and family. We are here for you whenever and however you need.
