Marv, I'm so sorry to hear of Vicki's death. I just today found out about it how very sad .I'm so very sorry. Vicki's and I rode to school together with the Mescher kids (neighbors with a car) we had many nice chats on the way to BHS.
This has to be a terrible blow for you. I hope you have support and love to get through this.
Will be thinking of you.

Dear Marv and family, In order to pay proper respects to Vickie, a person would need to write a book. I am extending sincere and heartfelt sympathy to you all. We were blessed to have Vickie watching over our money at the Credit Union. My favorite memories are the time she and you paid a visit to The Lord's Garage to leave off items for my toy project. She was a dedicated supporter and always thanking and giving me affirmation when it was only because of your goodness that I could do my job of helping the poor. I can hear her voice say as she left the garage we are blessed to have you. As you walk in the valley of darkness, I will be praying for you Marv as you try as you might to forge ahead remembering all your fond memories. I will never forget Vickie and since she was such a supporter of the library, I am going to have Shirley pick out a book and put her name in it. I really am sincere in my thoughts and prayers and I felt so bad not being able to attend the wake and funeral. Robert and I were both sick. If I can help you Marv, I am here for you. Rest in peace my dear and faithful friend, Vicki maiers.

Oh Marv and Kris - my heart hurts on the news of Vicki’s passing. Vicki was the epitome of all things good in this world. She was kind, gentle and loving to everyone, her smile lit up a room and she had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed the simple everyday things in life and lived a life of gratitude. Her love for you both was immeasurable. My deep and sincere sympathy.

Vicki was always a loving king spirit. I grew up on the same block as Vicki's family and have adored her ever since. She and Marv are good staples of this community and I feel like a shining light is gone from the community. She will be missed so much.

Sweet, kind Vicki. It was an honor to know you. Every visit with you and Marv in the office was a special treat. You lit up our days with your tales of visiting different places for Travel Dubuque and I'll truly miss it. So much love to your family. We will miss you terribly.
