I can’t think of a specific memory but I was always welcomed and loved at Deb’s house or anything that involved her family. She also raised one of my favorite and the kindest people in the world.

Dear Dean, Stephanie, and Rachael and families, I am finding I need to rely on the Holy Spirit to find the words I want to write about Deb as this was the most devastating news to hear even though I knew her death was eminent. I want to begin by expressing my profound and sincere sympathy to you Dean, Stephanie, and Rachael. We have lost a dear person who was like an energizer battery. She just kept giving and giving. I should know, because my toy project benefitted year after year with her enormous donations to help the kiddo's. Deb, never took credit for her giving as she would say, " We are so glad to able to do this for you, Miriam." " We know you do good work, and help so many children" Little did she know that my helper and I sat up this years Christmas toy shop on the very day Almighty God freed her from all her pain and suffering in this world. I would be working along and find myself saying" My little Debbie" donated that. Please know that I will miss seeing her in my garage quietly leaving off a van load of gifts. If they didn't come in her van, they were delivered by UPS. Deb has lived a life of faith and has left a legacy for all of us to live by. I will be continuing my prayers for all of you as you walk in the valley of darkness. Deb has seen the great light and we bid her a fond farewell as we try to carry on in her memory the kind deed of seeing that the youngsters have a merry Christmas. I will miss you Deb. Sincerely meant Miriam Eick

My deepest sympathy to the family & friends of Deb. I have so many fond memories of her during our time working at Pizza Hut many years ago. We became quite close & spent lots of time together with our “Pizza Hut Crew”. I remember her laugh & fun loving personality; my name for her was “Strawberry” which several of us lovingly called her…may you rest in peace my friend. Kelly Westemeier Stecklein
