We just lost a “one of a kinder” in Faye “Jones” (as I always called her) In any road trip we took East, stopping in Dyersville to visit was always a top priority. A better partner in life and a great Mom to 4 great kids was the best thing that ever happened to my brother Bob! At long last they can now be in heaven for eternity. Till we meet again, Love, Judy & Jerry.

When I first met Bob and Fay back in 1989/90 I knew instantly that they were good people. Sweet little Fay was always so pleasant. So sad for her departure but she’s at peace now and back in the arms of her true love Bob. Sincere condolences to Margy, Jeff, Laurie and Dave and all those beautiful grandchildren.

Memories from my adolescence are deeply tied to Fay and the time I spent with her and Bob. Fay taught me to play poker, other card games, what it meant to be a democrat, and questioning in the pursuit of the truth.
When I visited my ultimate alma mater for the first time, my parents and I stayed at Fay’s. She meant so much to me and was an important adult figure.
While it’s been more than a few years since I visited her, I can still picture the house next to what was a grocery store, then a bar, and now a goodwill. I see the apartment out by 136.
To the family, i hope solace comes in the memories of your mom, grandma, great grandma, et Al. The world was a better place because Fay was in it. May she rest in peace.

Dear Margy, Laurie, Jeff, Dave, and extended family, Fay's book of life contained many chapters. As she wrote her book, from beginning to end, you never had to second guess that Bob, children, grandchildren, and great-grand children were no one in her book of life. Following very close in proximity was her Catholic Faith. I wonder how many prayer books and rosaries she had in the arms of her favorite chair. Books, oh yes, books! She thoroughly enjoyed her cozy mysteries. I found your mother to be my rock and salvation whenever something was bothering me, I could call and confide in her. Her response was always the same, " I will pray for you darlin". I will be forever grateful for her friendship, and as all of us who knew her so well walk in the valley of darkness, we can find comfort in knowing she is reaping the rewards of the seeds she so beautifully sowed upon this earth. . As we close the book of your life, Fay, we can say ,"be at peace, our dear and faithful friend." Sincerely meant Miriam Eick and family
