Dianne, Shane was one of my most favorite people to be around…. Whether it’d be sitting down town having a cocktail, or sitting in your garage with you guys watching you play Euchre and tipping back the cold ones! I used to play a song for Shane on the jukebox, and his favorite part… and he would sing at the top of his lungs, “WE’RE LIKE FIRE AND GASOLINE, IM NO GOOD FOR YOU, YOURE NO GOOD FOR ME, WE ONLY BRING EACH OTHER TEARS AND SORROW..BUT TONIGHT IM GUNNA LOVE YOU LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW!” And anything then he’d say: “Lindsay, you know what I like about you? EVERYTHING! Come over here and see old dad!” I could go on and on. I spent some of my most precious times with you guys! And man he was one of the funniest, best humored people I’ve ever met. Anyone who knew Shane well was beyond blessed. They broke the mold when they made ol’ dad! He will forever be missed and I’m always thinking of you!
