I will miss Rob. Few people I meet have an impact on me, even fewer I would call a friend. Rob was one of them. Thanks for all the great times. Mighty Green for all in Memory.

Rob always made great strides to treat me as his own son. Rob had a laugh that was contagious and always tried to make you smile. You will be missed more than life itself, we love you always.

Rob,
(Slobber) as we all new him by.
Thanks for making every week/weekend enjoyable Refing with you. When we messed up all we had to do is look over at you and we new it could have been worse!!! You made us laugh, you taught us much, and even made us cry, (usually because we were laughing so hard) but we always had fun. The Bolins and the rest of the Missouri Refs will remember you and all that you taught us. Thank you for all that you did and keep everyone in heaven laughing as u did us.

It was always a fun and interesting week/weekend Refing with u over the years. You always made it enjoyable and helped many of us threw some bad calls, blind moments, or just made us laugh to make us to forget about it.
The Bolins and the other Missouri Refs will miss you greatly, but we will always have those fond memories that you provided. Thank you for all that you did.

Robbie was the red headed son of my scout master. He and his family also went to the same church as my family. His father. Bob Senior was also a ginger. They were both hot tempered and afflicted with ADHD.
Robbie was, I believe… in the same grade as my little brother, so 4-6 years younger than me. Robbie, of course came to every scouting event.
Being from a small town, Our Scout troop included everyone from Explorers, Scouts, Webelos to Cubs. Basically: College Seniors to fifth graders.
My troop attended a summer camp for scouts. The scouts, all housed in canvas army surplus tents, 6-8 boys in each tent, were staggered in age. The camp monster was referred to as:” Mossy Back”. He was a distant cousin of the Yeti and Sasquatch.
One of the older Scouts and I, (hoping to make Robbie feel at home of course) Would pull chunks of bark off a tree, and using a sharpie, write Robbie a welcoming note, leaving them on his sleeping bag. They ran like this: “Robbie, I am coming for you tonight! Your Friend, Mossy Back” or “Rob, Sorry I didn’t show last night. I was busy killing an Explorer from Troop 157. I’ll get to you tonight. Your Buddy, Mossy Back.”
Us older Scouts thought it was hilarious. We had no idea; Robbie was taking this VERY seriously. He had skipped lunch and made a collect call from the camp payphone to his mother.
That night as we sat around the campfire, an old woody station-wagon came sliding up to the fire-circle. Our Scoutmaster Bob, (Robbie’s dad) looked at me, the Senior Patrol Leader, and said, “I have an emergency Scout Master meeting! You are in charge!” Off he ran into the darkness.
Out of the car came Robbie’s mom, Donna. To say she was upset… Was to put it very mildly. She grabbed Robbie by the ear, threw him in the car, and turned to the assembly. “Enjoy the fire! When I find out who did this, it will be your last!”
I don’t know if Robbie ever continued with Scouting…Because I never went back!

Philippians 1: 3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
I didn’t grow up in Lisbon but I have made Lisbon my home for the past 30 years. I can’t drive by the city park/baseball diamonds without smiling and remembering the Williamson’s.
I first met Slobber and Redhead at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca when we were teenagers 4.5 decades ago! We became brothers and sister in Christ from that day forward.
Upon first meeting Rob- I can confess that “Slobber” was the most appropriate nickname. LOL. And I can assure you - he entertained every single one of us at the picnic table that day.
From poison ivy to Roman’s and Christian’s- that summer will forever be etched in the depths of some of my most cherished memories!
I can only imagine what Heaven must be like- but I assure anyone who takes the time to read this- - - if there isn’t a whistle and a wrestling mat - Slobber is either dancing with Jesus or bowed down before Him-because I know Rob is a child of God. I look forward to the day that I will sit at the Lords table with him again!
The Williamson’s hold a special place in my heart- yesterday - today - tomorrow- always! Praying for you all during this time of loss.
Slobber Bobber- ❤️ - UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

Rob was always a fun person this is so hard to believe he is gone. My daughter remembers when we went to tournaments and he would pick on her and help with her moves. He was such person who would help anyone that need it. I learned a lot from in the wrestling referee world. He will be missed. Your in god hands now. We will see each other again my friend.

Slobber,
You were a great friend to many! You will be missed. I loved giving you crap while you officiated at my Middle School wrestling meets in Waukee. Glad you never got passed Slick to put a beat down on me as a freshman during wrestling practice. Til we meet again. RIP Slobber!

Q: Did Robert have any pets?
A: Rob (and I) had a dog named Freddie, he was a puggle. That dog was so much like Rob, and even sat like Rob, and they use to sing (howl) together. Freddie also like Pina colada, so anytime he would hear Rob open a bottle, he would come running. Sometimes Rob would do it just to see him come running.
