The best decision we made 35 years ago was to purchase our first home next door to Ray and Joan! They were friends, mentors, and the greatest "bonus grandparents" for Tyler and Elizabeth. We will cherish all our memories such as when searching for our little ones, we could count on finding them sitting on the porch talking to Ray or enjoying a fresh baked cinnamon roll in the kitchen with Joan.
