I was so saddened to hear of Jeanette’s passing. I remember her from high school as kind, friendly and expressive lady. (I will admit I couldn’t not really tell her apart from her sweet twin Janet!!). She was one of the cutest cheerleaders at Maq Valley which I admired so much. I recall her and her husband joining us years later on a friends and family car cruise. She never aged a bit and still had her sweet smile. I know she will be missed by so many and earned her wings far before anyone was ready! You’re family will continue to be in my prayers! She touched many and will not be forgotten.

I am so, so sorry to learn of Jeanette’s passing away. I had her and her twin sister, Janet, in my 8th grade science class the very first year that I taught at Maquoketa Valley. I still remember Jeanette as a sweet, happy, intelligent young lady who was very well liked by all of her classmates ! This really hurts my heart to hear that she has left this earth, and I will keep all of her family in my thoughts and prayers during these difficult, sad days. May God comfort each and all of you. Oh My Gosh, I can’t tell you what a shock this is and how sorry and sad I am. I will always remember the holiday get togethers at Grandma Lahr’s and how Jeannie, Linda, Janet, Jeanette and I would end up huddled in the bathroom because there wasn’t anywhere else for us to go.
