Aunt Dorothy,
Alas the suddenness of your passing, the brief interval until internment and personal obligation will mean that I will not be able to pay respects in person. Like with your mother, I will have to defer until a later time for such.
That said, your passing should not be left without my recognition of your contributions to my life’s enrichment. In your own distinctive style, you illuminated aspects of integrity, family values and altruism that I might never had otherwise known. While it rests beyond my limited capacity to envelop, may our gracious and loving God give you the rewards that you so dearly deserve.
