My deepest sympathy to Dave, children and siblings!
Patti was a volunteer on my Mercy Festival of Trees Committee that I coordinated. She not only had the best decorating ideas, but also a joy and a card to work with!! She was a lifesaver in many instances and converted stressed into desserts many days during some of the challenging and long, tiring days!! She was one of the most colorful ladies I met!! What a beautiful obituary! She did more in 74 years than 4 people together!! She didn't deserve to have to suffer with that horrible cancer!! Marlene TeKippe

Dave, Amy, Carmen, Emily, Molly and families - please accept our deepest condolences. We are so sad to that Patti will no longer have a physical presence in our neighborhood, but we know she will always be there when we gather together, because she meant so much to so many. We will continue to hold you all in prayer as you go through all of your firsts without her by your side. It stinks, and it will be hard, but you have so many wonderful memories to carry you through. Patti was a treasure, and we truly enjoyed getting to know her when we moved back to Dyersville. Please let us know if there is anything you need. Sincerely, Brent and Joan Hinerichsen and family

On Thursday, November 18, 2021, Our Heavenly Father extended His arms and embraced your wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many with these words of love, kindness, and admiration: Patti, your earthly mission has been completed; therefore, come journey with Me into the Heavenly Kingdom where I have prepared a place for you. Because Patti was a woman of deep faith, she willingly and joyfully embraced the Heavenly Father and embarked on her journey to the highest heavens to be with those who have gone before her.
A dark gray cloud hovers over the South West corner of Dyersville at the present time as each of you walk in the valley of darkness; however, memories of Patti will bring forth sunshine and a myriad of reflections about her life.
Dave, you, your children, and grandchildren have been in our prayers and they will continue for peace and contentment to overcome the cross of loss you carry at this time.
I have some very fond memories of Patti dropping off items in our garage for my toy project. She was always interested in what was happening in the Lord's Garage and a sincere word of thanks for all I do for the community.
May your wife. mother, and grandmother rest in peace and enjoy the rewards of Heavenly bliss after suffering from the pangs of this earth.
Sincerely meant
Miriam Eick and family

I am deeply saddened to learn of Patti’s passing. During her years at Home Interiors and Gifts I was lucky enough to be a part of her sales division. Patti was one of the most positive, upbeat people I’d ever met and had exemplary leadership skills. She was a great motivator and role model as she successfully juggled home, family and career. I have many happy memories of my days with Home Interiors, our trip to Dallas, our weekly meetings, a wonderful sisterhood, long lasting friendships. Patti wanted all of her girls to succeed, I was just one of the many who looked to her for guidance and approval. She spoke of Dave and her girls often and lovingly…and always with great pride. Thinking of all of her family and friends during the difficult days ahead. She will be missed by so many and remain in our hearts and memories forever.
