Obituary of Shaun Michael Brewer

MONTICELLO, IOWA

Shaun Michael Brewer, 44, of Monticello, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 after an auto accident.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Shaun was born on May 11, 1977 in Anamosa, Iowa, the son of Danny and Sandra (Wood) Brewer. He met Michele Higgins, his common-law wife, in 1999.

Shaun is survived by his parents, his life long partner, Michele Higgins, grandparents, George and Dorothy Wood of Anamosa, uncle, Brad Wood of Denver, CO, uncles, Arlin (Jean) Brewer, Larry (Sue) Brewer, John (Jean) Brewer, Jennie Lutz, Nora (Wes) Rook, Joann (Bud) Hascall, Margaret Garrett, Patti (Tex) McAndrew, Pam (Dennis) Foster, Teresa Bartels, many many cousins, and a friend, Jerame Foster.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Emmaretta Brewer, great grandparents, Carl and Helen Eden and Ivan and Edna Wood, uncles, Mike Wood, Ken Lutz, and Kim Bartels, and a cousin, Jennifer Hartwig.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
