I was a classmate of Calvin at Lincoln and remember Calvin very well and our growing up days in Mechanicsville. Thought of him often over the many years that have passed. My sincere condolences to his family.

To Cal’s Family & Friends,
We were sorry to learn of your loss. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy.
My husband Jim & I were classmates of his at Lincoln School in Stanwood through our Junior year, 1963. I lived in Mechanicsville as did Cal.
A few years ago I called Cal to say hi & tell him about the upcoming class reunion. Although he didn’t make it to the reunion, we had a great conversation. He shared about his life, family & what he enjoyed doing.
Even though we hadn’t seen Cal in a long time, we wanted to take a moment today & say what a nice person he was.
Sending caring thoughts your way.
Jim & Jan (Becker) Brendes
