Obituary of Lisa M. Kelchen

MARION, IOWA

Lisa M. Kelchen, 58 of Marion, formerly of Manchester, Iowa passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Manchester, IA. Rev. Tyler Raymond will officiate. Lisa's service can be found on Kramer Funeral Home Facebook Page.

Lisa was born February 28, 1962, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Irma (Maiers) Kelchen.  She grew up on a farm near Dundee, IA.

Lisa graduated from Hamilton Business College and went on to work for Unity Point Health for many years. She enjoyed crocheting or making anything to keep her busy. She loved music and nights of dancing with friends. She loved her Saturdays with her grandsons having lunch or just hanging out.

Survivors include her children: Clint (Jenny Lee) Rankin, Jill Rankin, Jerod Rankin; grandchildren: Devin VanZee, Cole Collingwood, Marcus Rankin, Jacob Rankin; siblings: Larry Kelchen of Strawberry Point, Steve (Mary) Kelchen of Anamosa, Deb (John) Leonard of Ryan, Kathy (Daniel) Schmidt of Dyersville; in-laws: Jan Kelchen of Cedar Falls; her former husband and dear friend, Kevin Rankin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, Marianna, and her brother, Randy Kelchen.

The family would like to thank the staff and Hospice Center at St. Lukes Hospital.
