So sad to hear of your loss! I remember the old days at the catholic grade school and public high school in Charles City, with many of the Kelly family, especially Mike and Pat. It was fun wrestling around at the Kelly home in the living room (after wrestling practice no less) and popping in at the Nashua Creamery while Mike and Pat were mixing cheese curds. Those two were energetic and humorous and the cheese curds were good too. Over the years, sadly, we lost touch. To Pat, Maryellen, and to all of Mike’s family, may you always stay in touch with Gods loving grace!

Michael and I were not great or close friends but we were good friends in school. It saddens me to learn of his passing but, I am so pleased to learn of his accomplishments. It would be very difficult to find a more successful person. God's speed.

I was on a CRHP retreat with Mike, very welcoming man, inspired many, and certainly a man who lived his life like St. Joseph. May the joys of heaven fill the mind and souls of his family. Deacon Roger

Mike was a true Rock Star, a diamond in a coal pile among most Catholic men, So dry in humor and witty in conversation, you had to be on your toes for incoming all the time - remarks that is!
What a field marshall for the Latin Mass! You carried on beautifully, and despite Satan 's best efforts, we have more Latin than ever! Feel terrible I can't sing loud and off key at your Requiem High Mass due to the Chinese Communist Party virus.
I feel certain Mike, Msgr. Petty, and Fr. Tom McAndrew are all up there shaking things up together!
Requiescat in pace, Mike!

Mike was the first and only person in my adult life to ask me "When was the last time you went to confession?" That was our first meeting! Lol Mike is two of my children's Father in Love. I loved him and admired him for speaking TRUTH and caring about others souls. BTW I was so relieved that I could tell him... Just last week, Mike. He replied... 'we are going to get along!' My heart is with all of you and you are in my prayers. I love you Gloria and family! I'm so, so sorry for your loss. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord...

Mike was always nice to me. When he would come to CCR ( old Building) he would always walk by and pull my hair and say hi. HE always stopped and asked how I was and how my Family was. He will be missed.
