I am so sorry to hear of Alice’s passing. She was my Mom’s good friend and I grew up enjoying Alice’s engaging personality and wonderful smile. In February, my Mom and I visited Alice in her new condo at Ellen Kennedy Living Center. She was so happy! Know that I am thinking of you all at this difficult time.

We always sat in the same area in church so coming out of church we had a conversation with Alice. She was always happy and pleasant . Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Leon and Marylin Kern

So very many fond and loving memories of this wonderful lady, especially as a little kid spending summer vacations with the Bockenstedt family. I would be so overjoyed when my Dad would say “Get in the car -we’re going to Clarence and Alice.” Always food on the table, fun to be had, and laughter all around. She was a kind, friendly and lovely lady to so many people. My deepest sympathy to the family. I can still rattle off all of your names in
order. :)

My deepest sympathy to Alice's family. What a beautiful soul we had the privilege to work with at the Living Center. She loved God, her family, and this country. She was loved by her Ellen Kennedy Living Center family and such an asset to the community here. She will be sorely missed!

I will never forget the act of kindness displayed by Alice and Clarence after my parents' car accident. They came to the hospital to be with my Dad after surgery so he did not have to be alone when my siblings and I were at our mother's wake. They had always been close friends of our parents, and having them at the hospital during that very difficult time meant the world to us. I pray that they are all reunited, enjoying another friendly game of cards. Sincere condolences to their wonderful family.

I have so many great memories of the times our families spent together. Pete & Alice were such good friends of my Mom & Dad. I expect there is a heck of a card game going on right now. Alice was a real sweetheart with a beautiful smile. God bless her & her family. Sharon Petsche

So many memories with mama Alice and her family! Never a dull moment or lack of conversation. She was always calm and welcoming through the chaos and mischief. I will miss your smile and hugs.
