Our best wishes to the family as you celebrate a great life and legacy of a very special person. Betty was a a pleasure to get to visit with. Many memories of her and Vern dropping by Ronnie and Mary's or Walt and Laurie's in Buenie and telling stories and laughing and having a great time as they knew so many people. Betty was a wonderful Aunt and Godmother as well. Please accept our sympathies and apologies for not making the funeral, but know that we are there in prayer and will watch the funeral mass. Betty was a roommate at Oakcrest with my mom, Edith Lammers. I always enjoyed my chats with Betty whenever I visit mom. She had a contagious smile and so easy to chat with. She told me her son was Randy and after more discussion we realized I graduated with Randy.
I speak for my mom as well when I say we will truly miss her and our chats.
Cherish the memories. My sympathy to all the family.

Betty was such a special lady in so many ways for our Mother, Edith Lammers. Mom was always telling us stories about “Betty” and how they both helped each other while spending their days, weeks and months together as roommates at Mercy One Senior Care. She helped Mom with putting on her jewelry, shared the Newspaper and they both discussed their feelings about the latest news stories. Such a special person with a big heart. Every time we made a visit to see our Mom, Betty would say it’s so nice of you to come and visit. We would talk about how we each knew her children and their families. She was so proud and always had a beautiful smile. Sorry for your loss during this difficult time - with deepest sympathy from; Edith Lammers and family.
